Samsung recently launched its Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (S20 FE) smartphone in India with an aggressive tag and a robust feature set. The device brings flagship-like hardware and performance.
Some users are claiming that they’re encountering problems with the touchscreen. which in some cases manifests as a scarcity of response to taps or swipes and, in others, as input that didn’t come from the user.
According to reports, the touchscreen issues might not be widespread, but albeit encountered by a couple of users these issues might be very frustrating.
The publication claims they need been experiencing these touchscreen issues themselves, with their unit regularly switching to “pocket” mode even when held within the hand normally.
Samsung on its part has said that this is often a software issue and during a statement given to Android Police confirmed that it’ll be rolling out an update soon to repair the difficulty on the device.
It recommends customers to stay their devices up so far with the newest software by accessing Settings > Software update > Download.
