IFFI postponed to January, to be held in hybrid format: I&B Ministry
The Union Ministry of data and Broadcasting said Thursday that the festival are going to be held between January 16 and 24. it’ll be conducted during a hybrid format, with physical and virtual screenings, to follow Covid-19 protocol.

The India International festival (IFFI), which was scheduled for the last week of November, has been postponed to January.

The Union Ministry of data and Broadcasting said Thursday that the festival are going to be held between January 16 and 24. it’ll be conducted during a hybrid format, with physical and virtual screenings, to follow Covid-19 protocol.

“The 51st Edition of the International festival of India scheduled to be held at Goa from 20th November to 28th November, 2020 has been postponed to 16th to 24th January, 2021,” the I&B Ministry said during a statement. “The decision has been received ,” it said, after I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar “discussed the issue” with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

“It has also been jointly decided to carry the festival from 16th to 24th January, 2021 at Goa as per the International festival guidelines and protocols. The festival are going to be conducted during a Hybrid format i.e. Virtual & Physical format…”

IFFI is that the government’s flagship festival .
