A WhatsApp spokesperson acknowledged the difficulty and said in an email statement to indianexpress.com, “WhatsApp has released and already begun rolling out a patch that addresses this in its latest iOS software update. like any tech product, we strongly encourage users to stay their WhatsApp app and mobile OS up so far and download updates whenever they’re available.”

Recently, WABetaInfo asked users to share new ideas for features which will be delivered to the widely used messaging platform. But one among the followers tried to the eye to a replacement technique using text messages which causes phones to freeze then crash.

WABetaInfo skilled this tweet with – “I raised this issue some weeks ago. My followers told that this is often called “Binario”, “Contact bombs”, “Trava Zap”, “Crashers” or just “message/vcard crash”. It’s very complicated to elucidate , but these messages can crash WhatsApp whenever you open the app.”

A text bomb is nothing but a series of randomly placed special characters which don’t have any kind of design or meaning. the rationale behind the crash is that WhatsApp fails to know the meaning of those messages. These texts cause your phone hanging or becoming inoperable albeit you shut and open WhatsApp again.

You must not open any messages from unknown and suspicious contacts which will contain characters like these. you’ll enter the privacy settings and permit only ‘my contacts’ to feature you to any group rather than allowing the action for everybody .
