After quite five months, the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) is about to resume its services from September 7. before the resumption of services DMRC has introduced new smart travel cards which can vary from those millions are using within the capital thus far . Since there’ll be no cash transactions at any Delhi Metro Station thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, Zero Human Intervention cards are going to be used.

What are Zero Human Intervention cards?
These cards offer an automatic top-up feature. The commuters will got to register the cardboard on the Autope app (available on Google Play Store) or website which can be linked to their debit, credit, or UPI account. The top-up feature are going to be activated after the verification is completed . Whenever the card’s balance goes below Rs 100, it’ll automatically get recharged once you tap it on the entry gate to enter the platform.

Commuters are going to be ready to get their cards delivered reception . a further five per cent discount are going to be available on each top-up. it’ll also eliminate the Add Value Machines (AVM) at the metro stations.

Customisation of the Autope card
The Autope cards are often customised also . you’ll pay a further Rs 150 to feature your photo and name to the cardboard . this will be done at the time of the order of the cardboard . this might assist you find your card if you misplace it.

What will happen to my old card?
Your old metro open-end credit are going to be valid and you’ll recharge it online also . You won’t be ready to recharge it using cash as these counters are going to be closed. you’ll upgrade it to access the auto top-up feature option too. However, so as to activate, you’ll got to visit the customer care of any metro station.
