Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant introduced that the Worldwide Movie Competition of India(IFFI) will probably be held in November as scheduled in Goa. Yearly IFFI is held in Goa within the final week of November.

On Wednesday, CM Pramod Sawant confirmed with the reporters that the state will probably be internet hosting IFFI 2020 as per scheduled.

Nevertheless, the opposition gets together of Congress mentioned that it’s not advisable to host IFFI within the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and urged the state authorities to rethink its choice.

The COVID Pandemic isn’t the time for internet hosting Festivals and Celebrations.

With no Monetary assist from @MIB_India and @DFF_India, Goa finally ends up spending Rs 20-25 crores yearly on the mega occasion.
