IIT Bombay Heritage Basis on Friday introduced a grant of Rs. 2.35 crores to IIT Bombay so as to fulfill the wants of scholars in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Chairman of IIT Bombay Heritage Basis, Raj Mashruwala, confirmed that the fund shall be used to buy 500 laptop computer computer systems and broadband help for 500 needy undergraduate college students.
In accordance with a press launch by IIT Bombay, “IITBHF was capable of acquire the USD 301,000 for this grant from its US-based alumni pursuant to prolonged fund-raising drives.
